Body Of Water explores the idea that perhaps we are not so separate from the landscapes that move us. That we carry our own tides within us.
Emerging from layers of blue is the faint outline of a human torso, its form deliberately difficult to separate from the water surrounding it. Body and landscape begin to merge; the marks might be waves, currents or something moving beneath the surface. Body Of Water
There are moments of turbulence and depth, but also areas of softness and quiet flow. Marks gather intensely before dissolving again, echoing the way our own emotions can rise, recede and return.
At its heart, Body Of Water is about the connection between our inner and outer landscapes. The sea has its currents, its depths, its storms and its moments of stillness as we do too.
